Spend your summer learning from experienced professionals at one of the premier summer tennis programs in Queens and all of New York City.

Our Summer Tennis Academy runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM and serves children ages 4–15 (children at age 4 must be going into Kindergarten in the Fall). Campers receive high-quality tennis instruction led by USPTA and USPTR Certified Coaches, with a daily focus on skill development, drills, and match play. In addition to on-court training, players enjoy a variety of off-court cross-training activities including soccer, basketball, pickleball, and more.

The Summer Tennis Academy at Alley Pond Park is the ideal day camp experience for children who want to have fun, stay active, and meaningfully improve their tennis skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

• Red Ball Half-Day Program (Ages 4–8): A beginner-friendly, half-day option designed to introduce young players to tennis fundamentals in a fun and age-appropriate setting. Red Ball players must be at least 4 years old and going into Kindergarten in the Fall.
   
• High Performance Program: A specialized training track for competitive players seeking advanced instruction, match play, and higher-intensity development.
   

• Professional Tennis Instruction focused on proper technique, daily “Stroke of the Day,” strategic point play, competitive skill development, sportsmanship, and fostering a lifelong passion for tennis
   
• Train Where the Pros Train: Each summer, players associated with the US Open and USPTA practice at our facility and interact with campers, offering a unique and inspiring experience
   
• Daily Catered Kosher Lunch Included for full-day campers
   
• Off-Site Swimming and Conditioning twice a week at the Tanenbaum Family Pool
   
• Team Competitions & Individual Games: Olympic Day, soccer, basketball, pickleball, relay races, and other classic day camp favorites
   
• Theme Days that add excitement and variety throughout the summer

Our tennis lessons are tailored to your skill level and goals. Whether you want to improve your technique, fitness or strategy, our experienced coaches will provide you with personalized guidance and support. We offer both individual and group lessons, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

7:30-9am: Early care (optional add-on)

9-9:30am: Tennis warmup/Stroke of the day

9:30-10:30am: Tennis drills

10:30am-11am: snack break

11-12pm: Tennis games

12-1pm: Lunch

1-4pm: More tennis or other activities

4-5:30pm: After care (optional add-on)
